Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I have 2 daughters, 16 and 9. I lived in Mississippi for the last 2 years. As far as what I do with my time, I enjoy spending time with my family and working.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I’ve worked as a Chat Host for 4 ½ years now, though I’ve only been with BingoPalace for 2 years.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I was a player at a site that only hired players, because they knew how we interacted in chat. I expressed an interest in becoming a host, and when they had an opening, they looked me up.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

The thing I like most about my job is the players. I get to meet some of the nicest and most interesting people.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

The worst part of my job is having to enforce the site’s rules. It’s hard to get players to understand that, as a Chat Host, it’s not up to me whether or not players are allowed to do certain things. It’s up to me to enforce the rules that the site has put forth.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

Right now, I’d have to say that Share the Wealth and the Bench are 2 of my favourite chat games.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

Believe it or not, this question has given me the worst trouble on this questionnaire. I sit here and think about nights where I’ve been laughing so hard that I’ve had tears running down my face, and can’t think of a single specific incident to talk about. There are so many things that happen day to day with any Chat Host and it’s impossible to come up with just 1 thing. Every day brings new things to laugh about.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

A good Chat Host is a person who listens well, is very attentive, and tries to make every player, whether new or a regular, feel welcome and a part of the chat room. A good Chat Host always needs to have a lot of creativity and patience, as well.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I would like online bingo to return to what is once was and have people get the confidence in the industry that they once had.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

Being a Chat Host has been one of the best experiences of my life. It’s such a rewarding job, and I can’t imagine ever doing anything else with my life.
