Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I'm 24, mom of two little girls, both 5 years old. I love working as a chat host so I can spend every day with my babies. On the side I do graphic and 3D design and just about anything else artistic from sculpting to special fx makeup. I love comedy and horror movies and am just an overall mellow person. I love sharing funny stories about every day mishaps and giving the roomies a chuckle as they relate or just laugh.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

Going on 5 years now.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I originally got a floater job for a small website doing a few days a week here and there, since I had no experience, for when hosts had to call off. It didn't really go anywhere until Hurricane Katrina hit and knocked out power for 3 of the hosts on the site which gave me plenty of opportunity to work. They saw I could handle myself as a regular host.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

Meeting people from all walks of life. Seeing roomies win jackpots or monthly prizes. It's easy to buy what you want but winning it just makes that item a hundred times better and more exciting. A lot of the people I've played with don't get to go out or just don't have the money to, so when I see them win something and see how happy it makes them, it really makes my day.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

Definitely dealing with players who complain about not winning or ruin a win for others by complaining. I try and just explain everyone has good and bad days. Then we all try to bribe the caller with cookies to get him to mix up the names lol.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

I like the deposit special games and racing games, classic but still fun.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

lol, the funniest things have always been the random typos. that always seems to happen at the worst time. Either from me or players.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

A friendly personality and lots of patience. Keeping people happy, sharing funny life stories, letting them vent their daily troubles and trying to comfort them. Letting them know that the world can do their worst but when you're in MY bingo room, it's OK to have a good time and take a time out from the stresses of real life.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I'd like to see more people get into it. I never even knew this world existed until one day my mother told me how much fun it was to play bingo online and decided maybe it would be something to look into more.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I just love my job and I am grateful I got into this career. I used to think what I did didn't really matter but when I have players schedule their days just so they can play during my shift it’s such a gratifying feeling. To know someone cares about what I do and look forward to seeing me every day give me great happiness.
