Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I live in the Midwest right now, but plan to find my paradise soon! I really am not a cold weather person! I have two wonderful daughters, two super sons in laws, 5 grandchildren and a sixth on the way in June! With a name like Lucy I can tell you I live up to the image. If it is crazy I have probably done it or planned it! My mother always told me you have to do at least one crazy thing a day to keep yourself sane! I have no problem adhering to that advice! I live alone with 4 cats, 3 of them inherited from kids moving out! I really enjoy music, art, architecture, photography and people watching!

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been hosting over 3 years now for Bingoa2z! Wow time sure flies when you're having fun! I can still remember that very first chat day, it seems like yesterday!

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

Pure luck is all I can say! It is not a job I had ever really thought about doing until the opportunity was offered to me. I played online bingo for many years and so enjoyed the chat! I always loved to interact with both host and roomies and was invited to come and join their CH team! What a lucky day that was!

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

Oh my, where do you start! The friendships, the family atmosphere, talking to people from all around the world, laughing and crying together! Telling jokes, putting a smile on someone who might have entered with a frown! This job is a new adventure each day! It might be having a new chatter to meet, a new game to play, you just never know what each day will bring. You get to have all this fun, get paid, and stay inside when it's cold (no scraping ice off a car at 5:30 am)! Plus working in your pjs if you feel like it, now how can you beat that! With the wonderful roomies and management that I get to work with, there really isn't much not to like!

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

I think the hardest part of this job is when a roomie disappears and you don't know if they are alright. Online bingo chat rooms are sometimes the only way for some people who are ill or have hard family circumstances to be able get to have fun and enjoy friends, laugh and just relax! There are also those times, few as they are that someone comes in and, no matter what, they keep that chip on their shoulder. When you meet someone like that you just have to feel sorry, because you know something must have happened in their life to make them that way.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

How do you choose! We have the most remarkably creative management you will find anywhere! Our chat games and monthly promos are so much fun! Deal or no Deal I guess would be my favourite! I am just as tense about what might be in that next case as the players are when they open it! I also love trivia and think it is a great way for players to get to interact!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

Yikes you want me to confess my sins! Typos bring on many a laugh that is for sure and I indeed am typo queen! Players burst out laughing the day I wished a person Good Lick, or called a called player who's named ended in kiss - KILL! Oh and it's just not me, roomies keep us laughing with their typos' too! Think I might write a book - worlds funniest typos! I would not lack for material!

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

First off you have to really be a people person! You need patience, a sense of humour, but also the ability to put people at ease. You need to be fair, aware, and share! A good host should be able to keep the chat fun, but know what the limits are. You need to be able to control the room without making it feel like you are! You must be reliable, be a team member! You need to keep a smile in your typing no matter what your personal life has going on. You need to be able to make each and every player feel special that you are there just for them! Good bladder control and a soft cushion for numb butt is a must too!

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I hope that it will be able to keep growing and still have to freedom to allow players from all countries to enjoy the fun and convenience of being able to play from their homes.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I would just like to say thank you to our players and management at Bingoa2z for bringing me a wonderful way to follow my dreams! Without looking for it, I was given a wonderful gift when I was given this job! Big Luv and hugs to you all!
