Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

My real name is Debra but everybody calls me Deb or Debaroo, beba, etc. to the roomies. (Oh the nicknames you get from the typos and they stick with you regardless!!!!!!!!) When I am not Hosting, I love to work in my garden, sew, quilt, check out new recipes, and I love animals. I guess you could say I am a country gal. But I could be very content on an island, with just my computer, and... I love to keep people guessing.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been a Chat Host for 2 and a half years now. I have really come a long way from the first day on the job. There have been so many changes in that length of time, from simple games and just chatting, to running excel sheets and training. We have a great team here at CyberBingo and I give so much credit to our Head CM for having patience with me. (Don't look at the gray hairs she has acquired)...rofl

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I checked out the Chat Host position over a year before I became one. I didn't think I could sit at the computer for hours, chatting and playing chat games, being I had never had a sit down job before. And when CyberBingo gave me the chance, I TOOK it, I LOVE it, and when I make a mistake, I just blame it on being BLONDE!!!!!!!

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

I LOVE to make people smile!!!... If I can do that, then YOU have just made MY day!!!! I like to be able to help the roomies all that I can with their questions, make them happy, and feel comfortable. I want them to feel relaxed, enjoy playing, and most of all, be happy when they see a RED card (Bingo card) !!!!!!!!!

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

I don't like it when I have to be the bad guy in chat and boot someone. I can remember my first week here. I was trying to explain to a roomie that you can get booted, if you misbehave. I booted her to prove my point and it took her a very long time to get back in chat. (I think she wanted to kill me when she got back)!!!!!!!!!...........She is still with us to this day and won't let me forget it.....lol

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

I love to play the special games that you have to email in for, like Keno, Megaball, Lotto, Races and Roulette. Battleship can be a real blast also!!!!! Actually, I just love to play games period. We have a good crowd and the roomies are so much fun. If you haven't played with us at CyberBingo, come check us out, I don't believe you will leave disappointed.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

One thing that stands out in my mind, it was April Fool's Day. The other Chat Host that I was to relieve, had it planned, that when I entered the room, everybody would say, "Oh No, it's Deb"!!!! and leave the room. Well, I didn't know what to think? A few minutes later, they all came back, laughing their behinds off. We still laugh about it to this day. Needless to say, the other Chat Host has a pay back coming her way...lol.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

I believe you have to have patience, a sense of humor and make every roomie feel welcome. It is important to be dependable, a team player, and of course be fair. Being a Chat Host and meeting as many people as we do, from all over the world, is so very interesting. You become just like a family member to them. And when that family member keeps coming back in chat, then I believe you know you are a good Chat Host.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I would love to see everybody get a chance to try bingo online, of course at CyberBingo...lol...try it, you'll like it!!!!!!!! Of course in this case, it is ask the roomies. They can tell you how much fun it is to play and enjoy bingo, without even leaving their home.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

When you have a Management Team that is really good to you like Cyberbingo is to us, then you are a Happy Camper. Happy Campers make Happy Host and Happy Host make Happy Roomies and Happy Roomies is what makes me like my job so much and of course without them, I wouldn't even have a Hosting Job. I feel so honored to be chosen as the featured CM. Thank-you CyberBingo for giving me the chance to be a Host.
