Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

My name is Shannon, I am a married mother of 3 boys; Chase age 9, Lil Jack age 7, and my baby Connor is 1. I have been married to my husband Jack for 12 years. I live in Ohio. When I am not working I like to play land bingo and online bingo. My older boys are in a lot of activities so that keeps me busy most of the time.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

4 years at Glamour Bingo.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

Playing online bingo, just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and had the necessary qualifications.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

The roomies! After 4 years I have bonded with them, they are all like my best friends. I feel like I have 2 families, my family and my roomies. And of course getting to stay home with my children, that is a very important part of it.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

Sometimes the hours when I am not able to attend something my kids are doing.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

I like Thunderball and Speed!!! Which are both played at my site Glamour Bingo. Thunderball is played like this, you pick 8 numbers and you have to match at least 4 of your numbers with the first 20 balls called. And Speed is just like it sounds! Fast and Furious bingo action!!!!!!!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

A new player named Shannon came into the room, I greeted her and I automatically thought it was someone messing with me because she said she was from Ohio (which so am i). She said she had 3 sons (which I do). She said she was same age and she had been married as long as I have. It was just a coincidence that all these things were the same but I found it very humorous. And of course typos in chat are always funny!

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

Someone that is helpful, even-tempered and has a great sense of humor! Oh and you MUST be able to multi-task lol.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I think it's really great now, with new technology I can only see it getting better.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I am very lucky to have the greatest job in the world. I can visit with my friends and be at home with my children at the same time. It doesn’t get any better than that!
