Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I'm a bingo-lovin' CM at AmigoBingo.com.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been a host at AmigoBingo for just over a year, and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I was roomie in B2B bingo, for about 3 years, and the site became my home as a regular roomie. When B2B was in need of a new host I was approached to give it a shot with the support of the roomies and the staff. And I'm happy to say I have never looked back!

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

I have to say, the word job doesn't fit, this isn't a job. It is a pleasure; the roomies both new and old make this job like going home everyday. It is my second home, and home is where the heart is .... and my roomies sure have mine!

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

well I cannot say I find anything negative about what I do. But the positives outweigh the negatives, so I really don't find anything I can call the worst part.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

I love games that can involve the whole room, mostly fun games like 'Fill in the Blanks', 'Name that Tune' or trivia. I'll play all kinds of games but I like games that keep the roomies interactive the whole time they are in my chat room, and making fun out of every minute of it is the best! You just never know what a roomie may surprise you with, but boring just wouldn't belong in my room!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

I do my best to accommodate my customers, English-speaking or not. And I had one with non-English.... I was translating instructions for a game in chat in what I thought was Spanish and well it wasn't it was in Dutch by accident! And the whole room including the Spanish customer bust up laughing,caus not even I knew what I had done till it was already posted in chat (I use a translation site to help me and had it on Dutch instead of Spanish not realizing). Good deed gone wrong, but all too funny.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

Well I think for me each and every one of my roomies is riding in the seat right next to me. They are what makes me a good host. I hold each one in my heart because I have been both a roomie and a host so I have been that person on the other side of the fence. And so my understanding for their highs and lows. Well I've been there so I know!

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

Well good question; big, bigger and biggest and we are going that way if you ask me, but I would like to see some site tournaments, maybe held at Which Bingo itself between some of the site teams - with roomies and with staff teams maybe once a month, against other bingo sites interested. I would also like to see, us get a lot more awareness out there about what a great group of people we are!

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I'd just like to say thank you all of my roomies and my site team who have made me the host I am. And also to say that working for Amigo and the hall manger there is nothing but sheer pleasure and it is them that make me the host that I am, and hopefully I can continue to do this forever!
