Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I am a widowed mother of 7 (children and stepchildren) and grandmother of 8. After retiring and children were grown, I had a lot of free time on my hands and found my way into playing online bingo. What a way to meet some really great people!!

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I've been a Chat Host for 1-1/2 years but have played many years of online bingo.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

A friend of mine who was forming a team of Chat Hosts contacted me to see if I was interested. Well, after all those years of playing online and being very talkative in the chatrooms, I thought WOW now I have a chance of doing something I know I would enjoy.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

I absolutely love the players in the room. They are the greatest and can make your day. We have good communications between our Management, Techs, Promo Team, Support Staff and of course our great Chat Hosts (Bearly, Road, Ali, Pie, Serena and Joan).

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

There is no "worst" part on this job at all. I love every aspect of it.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

My favorite chat games are Lotto, Roulette and Bingo Down Races and my reason being, they give the players a lot of "bonus bucks" to keep them in the game.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

Hmmmmmm, now that's a toughie. There are so many everyday "funny" happenings. I think just seeing all the "typos" and how they are interpreted are hilarious.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

Dedication, perseverance, respect, interaction and understanding are great virtues. Greeting the players and keeping them happy are very important; i.e. listening to their feedback/comments and directing them to the proper sources. You must have good communications with the players and other Chat Hosts. Being knowledgeable about the site itself is very important.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

Building a "community" type environment I feel makes the chatroom a closer knit family. At BingoWorkz we are moving even further towards this. Listening to player feedback and making improvements in the games and offering more to the players in the way of new games is another aspect.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

It takes a great "team effort" to become what we are. Thank you to all the players, techs, support staff and all our people "in the background" for all their hard efforts and work. And, a special "Thank You" to our great Chat Hosts: Bearly, Road, Ali, Pie, Serena and Joan who I feel do a terrific job and add a lot of "zest" to our chatroom. Without you all, we would not be what we are!!
