Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I am married, have 8 children (9 if you count hubby!), have a job that I love and work with the most exciting and brilliant people who have become not only friends but family as well.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been in this type of work for almost 5 years now.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

A friend that I met online told me about a bingo site that was beta testing about 6 yrs ago. I could not download it to save my soul so there was a toll free number to call for tech help. I called it and the person who answered the phone was the President of the software company for that site. We started gabbing and basically the rest is history. To make a long story short, I went from bingo player to 'Director of Operations' of Prestige Bingo and Leisure Bingo.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

That's tough as I love everything about this business. The players are the most rewarding part of my job, to see them happy is the greatest! The owners of the site are absolutely the best to work for in this industry! Good family and business oriented people! The office staff who goes above and beyond to help me and the Chat Wizards. And mostly, my girls the famous Chat Wizards of the site!! I could go on and on about them, we met online, became as close as family and they are the most devoted, enthusiastic, helpful, imaginative and all of them are my right arms!! Together we make up the team, while I may work mostly in the background they hold up the front line like a soldier protecting his country. They do whatever they need to do to keep our family of players happy and enjoying themselves while playing at our sites.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

Having to shut down my computer at the end of the day!

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

Personally, my favorite is 'Pop the Balloons' but I bet if you asked our players they would say "KENO!!" Super Bowl Sunday (one of our Keno nites) we gave out slightly over $24,000 in party bucks to our players!! Phewwwww what a night!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

LOL first thing that comes to my mind is a long time ago. I worked at a site that had major tech problems and was down for almost a week! For 5 days straight I sat in chat and kept between 30 and 50 players (mind you there was NO BINGO going on just our chat room was working) we sang everything from "99 bottles of beer on the wall" to where they gave me a bee hive hairdo and completely remodeled the chat room!!

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

A gift to gab for sure; patience, imagination, deep devotion and an immense love and respect for the game of bingo and its players.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

Online bingo has come a very long way since I first started. Sites nowadays are into the competition. I think the future in online bingo needs to go towards more the personal side of things. We at both our sites try to go that extra mile when it comes to our players as well as our staff. We don't look at our players as just a player id or nickname but as a person who is just trying to enjoy a very popular game. There is a motto that I totally believe in and have instilled it in our entire staff "Always put yourself in that other person's shoes, that is the best way to know what they are saying, feeling or wanting".

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

Yes, to the players I would like to say "Thank You!" Thank you for being there, for giving us a chance to serve you, for believing in us! To my office staff, Thank You for your hard work and dedication behind the scenes. To my Chat Wizards, Thank you for being YOU, for your devotion and love and for you utmost support of me and each of our sites! This is dedicated to my girls.... Sue(our chat manager), our cw's Tj, Linda, Niece, Janee, Em and Jackie and our office staff Gaby, Sylvia, Sandy and Lory! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for if it was not for ALL of you, players and staff being a chat host would have no meaning!
