Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I’m a “happy go lucky” mother of three, four if you include my Husband who has never grown up. I have lived in rural North Wales for the past three years, having moved here from West Yorkshire. In my spare time (very little) I enjoy strolls along the beach, which is less than a 5 minute walk from where I live.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been a chat host for just over a year now, I wish I had taken this career path sooner as I really enjoy my job.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I have a sister and a family friend who have been chat hosts for some time now, they informed me of vacancies and the rest is history.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

Most of all, when a player wins “big money” in my room. I also get a real sense of gratification helping new players, even answering the same questions several times a day. I have a really good rapport with the roomies. I really enjoy chatting (virtually and physically). I enjoy the fact I work from home so am always around for the kids if needed.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

There isn’t one that springs to mind, but if I had to pick something I would say having to work Xmas and New Year but that’s not too bad. It’s nice to hear what the players get up to during the festive season.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

“Mines a double” which is quite appropriate for me!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

I have seen many “typos” in the room made by myself and the players, too rude to mention !!

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

Who can say, we all differ, I try to keep a light mood in the room with a bit of banter.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I think webcam without the audio would be a really good laugh (providing everyone kept their clothes on).

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

This job brings up new topics and discussions every day, just as you think you have covered everything, a new topic rises. Every day is different and you never know what the next day will bring.
