Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

I am Jeanette, I am 38 years old and live in Edinburgh, Scotland .I have 2 grown up kids, 2 dogs 2 goldfish and currently live with my partner of 26 years.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been a chat host since August of 2004.I worked at Think Bingo from day it launched back in August 2004 then moved onto our sister site Bingo Scotland back in October 2005 when it launched.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I came across online bingo. decided to give it a try. Absolutely loved it within weeks I was a regular making new friends. I was then approached by a CM from the site asking me to put a CV into the Manager, so I did .and within a matter of weeks I got the phone call asking me to become a CM for them. Naturally I jumped at the prospect and have never looked back since.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

Wow so many things I love about my job. Here at Bingo Scotland it's not just online bingo. It's a very tight community. We are all here for each other whether it be a CM or a player needing some advice or just simply a shoulder to cry on. I love the fact I have met lots of really good friends whom I love dearly. I also love the fact that I am working from home. The pay is fantastic and the bosses are the best ever. I could go on all day answering the question lol.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

I love my job here at Bingo Scotland and can honestly say there is nothing bad about the job except maybe when a player has had bereavement it can be a very sad time and can be very hard.

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

There are so many fun chat games we have here I think its Probably Thursday night's party night chat game's .We have 4 different ones not only are they fun for our players with 1000's of points given away each game but they are also fun to do for the Cm's the atmosphere is amazing. It is a fun night all round.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

Far too many things funny things have happened I honestly could not pick one out... I have to admit though I get some weird and funny look's from my dogs when I am giggling at the screen. I have been known also to wake my partner out of a sleep with laughing so much. Being a Cm is definitely a good tonic for laughter.

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

I think a good chat host is someone who is kind, caring considerate and funny, does not get stressed under pressure. Being a good listener is good as many players confide in Cm's and being able to understand and feel how your players are feeling whether good or bad, Also I believe it helps if you can get the atmosphere in the room buzzing so they players can have fun as well as their bingo .We have many who say they love the chat here and the fact our Cm's care the bingo is a bonus.

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

Online Bingo is most definitely on the up. Since the smoking Ban in Scotland we have had so many new players it has been great, I believe Bingo Scotland is the Best online bingo site on the net. Players have gave us so much positive feedback about our Cm's being the best online. The Jackpot's and Progressive Jackpot's are fantastic, our themed Party night's that we have throughout the years with lots of fantastic prizes given away. We also have a fantastic loyalty scheme we reward our players. Our site care for our players. The meets we have throughout the year are great too, So many friendships have been built here, and we are just like one big online family.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I absolutely love my job here at Bingo Scotland. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Dylan, Iain & Ben for putting up with me lol I can be hard work. Also a huge Thanks to Dylan for giving me the opportunity to become a CM in the first place. A huge thanks to all the players on Bingo Scotland for making my shifts so funny and memorable. I feel so lucky to be part of Bingo Scotland I would also like to thank all the players who vote for our Cm's at Bingo Scotland without you guys we couldn't do it, If you are serious about becoming a Cm. Go for it its probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
