Janie from Desperate Wives
Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.
My name is Janie, born in June on a hot summer day. My motto is Live (to the fullest), Laugh (today - tomorrow) and Love (unconditionally). I have two wonderful sons both are 8 years apart, they are geniuses with great personalities, they make me a very proud mother. I am from Texas and have lived here all my life and wouldn’t change it but I do love to travel and explore new cities. I currently have gone back to school for Esthetics – skin care training and will be completing the course in October. I will further my education for the importance of knowledge and wisdom.
Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?
I have been a Chat host since the year 2002 and have met the most awesome community in bingo from all over the world.
Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?
I was a player at a new site that I had stumbled on searching the net, I would be up at wee hours of the morning from dust till dawn playing BINGO! One day chatting with others around the world, I told the Chat host he needed help cause he was always way too busy. Next day he asked me if I would be interested in joining his chat crew. My mouth just dropped and was so excited!! I said heck yah!! I would be interested. That’s how I became a Chat host.
Q4: What do you like most about the job?
Meeting new people from different parts of the world, always learning something new every day.
Q5: What is the worst part of the job?
Having to say goodbye to my roomies when my shift is over!
Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?
My favorite chat games are automated games like roulette! Very easy and it gives me the opportunity and ease to sit back, relax and enjoy chatting with the roomies.
Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?
I enjoy every day and have lots of fun with everyone there, it really makes me laugh to see some of the typos that go around there. One day players were talking about how funny it would be to go to a real land bingo and start shouting some of the things players type rooms. Like "I need green!", "Color would be nice!", "I’m gonna KILL jeeves", "Where is support?", "How do I make a withdrawl?", "CL will you meet me in the help room?"
Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?
Being open minded, attentive, able to multitask, having a good sense of humor, opened to suggestions, good listener and definitely must have patience.
Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?
I would love to see online bingo utilize video and voice communication, also being able to play on an IPOD! With no computer or laptop, to keep up with “on the go” lifestyles. Taking it to the next level and go live on television, where u can buy your cards from remote control! It would be nice for CL’s to be able to take tips too!
Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?
I have had the good fortune of being able to be a Chat host and I want to thank each and everyone that has been a part and supporting me through the years. Desperate Housewives Bingo works for me!
